Richard L. Taylor, AIA

As a licensed Architect I’m qualified to design all types of buildings, but I chose many years ago to focus exclusively on custom homes and remodeling projects.

I prefer working at my client’s kitchen table to working in a boardroom, helping people improve their lives through better, more personal home design.

Many of the homes I’ve designed are in Ohio, but I’ve worked in ten other states as far away as Arizona and Colorado.

Our blog, Sense of Place, and our newsletter, Knock Knock, allow me to indulge my second love, writing.  My articles have been published on Fox News, Zillow, Yahoo Homes, MSN Real Estate, and several magazines and newspapers.

I’m privileged to have been able to share my unique skill set on my city’s Planning and Zoning Commission, and on the Dublin Historic Districts’ Architectural Review Board for many years.  I currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Historic Dublin Foundation, the Historic Dublin Business Association, and on the Design Control Committee at Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village Association.

When I’m not designing homes or serving my community, I’m busy with my best job and favorite responsibility as husband and father.

I look forward to giving you first-class service and attention, to offering you our more than 25 years’ dedication to the very best custom home and remodeling design, and to sharing this exciting and unique adventure with you. Contact me to schedule an initial consultation.
