This home started out with many of the same issues that a lot of clients come to us with - too much living room and dining room and not enough every day living space. The kitchen was very small and closed off from other areas of the home and too much space was designated to two eating areas.
The solution was to move the kitchen more towards the rear of the home, relocating the main door to the back yard, and opening up the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Now, every inch of space is used on an everyday basis, but the eating area is still formal enough for company.
The master bathroom was updated and modernized in-place. We used some space that used to be hallway bookshelves to create a little make-up nook. Other than that, everything was left in its current location, but everything is new and current.
