We created "two homes" to reduce the scale of the house and retain the charm of Bungalow style; the larger home faces the main street while the smaller "home" (a garage with bedrooms above) faces the adjacent street. Columns matching the ones on the main homes' front porch were introduced at the front of the garage to enhance the illusion of a second home.
The interior's unique floor plan is open and flowing; the main living spaces are divided with level changes and cabinets rather than walls, and the details and fixtures are reminscent of early 20th-century design. The entire house was carefully angled on the property to capture a vignette view of the golf course beyond.
